NEW STUDENTS: Welcome to Western Brazilian Jiu-jitsu's 2010/11 Year!

Welcome to the Western Brazilian Jiu-jitsu club. Western Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is the most popular martial arts club on campus, ever. The explosion of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) was mainly due to the now ubiquitous Ultimate Fighting Championship. BJJ has proven to be one of the most practical, and more importantly, function martial arts as well as an incredible training experience!

Our club is aimed at the complete beginner! We assume you have have no experience and are of any fitness level (although the experienced people are welcome to come on out!). The curriculum is highly structured with the beginner in mind. BJJ is also one of the safest martial arts if practiced properly. Serious injuries at our club are neglible and most participants train safely. We are also a highly recreational and social club and BJJ itself is highly social by nature - you are almost always working with a partner! If you are looking to train with some great people and make some friends, then look no further!

If you would like more information about our club, please use the buttons on the right hand side of this page to read more about who we are, what we do and how we train.

We are looking forward to meeting you! Please feel free to e-mail us if you have any questions or concerns! Our e-mail is westernjj at hotmail dot com (all one word, we spelled it out to avoid spammers).
